Discovering the historic heritage of a place is also diving into its past. In Tufia (Telde), a wild coastline with cliffs, you will visit an Aboriginal settlement with cave dwellings, burial mounds and a wall. You will go through an area of black volcanic sand and reach Montaña Bermeja where you can see Cuatro Puertas, an archeological site with cave dwellings dug in volcanic rock.
During this tour you can learn about Aboriginal rites, how deities of Nature were worshipped and stories told by the voice of time. In Guayadeque, a deep ravine on the boundary between the two municipalities Ingenio and Agüimes, you will merge with the landscape and discover a troglodyte settlement placed in an area which enjoys the protection of Bien de Interés Cultural (Heritage of Cultural Interest) and Natural Monument.
