Hiking across the northern area of Gran Canaria lets you discover its wild side. Soaring cliffs will show you the strenght of the sea on this coastline. Discover unique natural landscapes along this steep part of the island, which is the result of erosion and a volcanic past. Enjoy great views over the Atlantic Ocean, Tamadaba Natural Park and Agaete valley at the same time you walk along a path currently takebn by local pilgrims.
When you reach the end of the route, at San Pedro neighbourhood, you will be stunned by the view of a small tropical paradise: La Laja farm. There, coffee trees, grapevines and many types of fruit trees grow because of the perfect climate conditions of the region.
Besides learning how coffee and wine are produce, you can taste these products and also local cheeses, toasted bread and chorizo de Teror, a local pork sausage. Join this immersion trip!
