NEXT TOUR ON 2020-03-06 (19:00)
Don Benito Perez Galdós, one of the most important writers in Spanish literature, so close to the level of Cervantes, has arisen from his lethargy and leaves his birthplace on Cano Street to speak about his life and work with participants on a very original tour.
In 2020 we celebrate Benito Pérez Galdós, (1843, Las Palmas—1920, Madrid) and in this tour the actor who plays the role of the novelist and the guide exchange impressions about the city’s past and present in a hilarious and laidback way.
Triana Street, one of the most important streets in the city and which is part of the old town of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Cairasco Square, the Gabinete Literario, Santa Ana Square and the Pérez Galdós Theater are some of the most symbolc buildings in the city and you can visit them all with this tour which is also a trip through the nineteenth century.
This is a highly recommended experience that has been awarded the Tourism Excellence Award (CIT 2018 Awards).
Meeting point: Plaza de las Ranas, close to the fountain and Scooter´s pizza shop.
